1. Data Controller

protectNIL Inc., a Delaware corporation, is the data controller for the Epic AI Federated Cybersecurity Intelligence Platform ("Service").

2. Information We Collect

The Service is designed to minimize data collection:

• Query Content: Text queries you submit are transmitted to OpenAI's API for processing. Queries are not stored by protectNIL Inc. after the response is delivered.
• Server Logs: Standard web server logs (IP address, timestamp, request URL, user agent) are retained for up to 30 days for security monitoring and abuse prevention.
• Rate Limiting: IP addresses are temporarily held in memory for rate limiting purposes and are not persisted to disk.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

• No account registration or login required
• No cookies (first-party or third-party)
• No analytics or tracking scripts
• No personal information beyond server logs

4. Third-Party Processing

Queries are processed by OpenAI, L.L.C. via their API. OpenAI's data processing is governed by their API Data Usage Policy. As of this writing, OpenAI does not use API inputs or outputs to train models.

5. Data Retention

• Query content: Not retained after response delivery
• Server logs: Up to 30 days
• Rate limit data: In-memory only, cleared on server restart

6. Security

All traffic is encrypted via TLS. The Service is rate-limited and input-validated to prevent abuse. The server does not expose administrative interfaces to the public internet.

7. Your Rights

Because we do not store personal data beyond transient server logs, there is generally no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you have concerns, contact us at the address below.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The effective date above will be updated accordingly.
